Day 5 Paris

Alif has been waiting for this day to arrived..because..we’re going to..DISNEYLAND!!!! yeaaayyyy…I’m excited too!! After breakfast at around 9.30 we took the metro train red line all the way to Marne La Vallee-Cheesy, which is the last stop for Disneyland Paris.

For admission fee pls refer to their websites at
http://www.disneylandparis.co.uk/index.xhtml

We purchased ours together with the euro star tickets for admission into Disneyland and Walt Disney Studio Park. They have 5 magical lands that consist of Main Street, Frontierland, adventureland, discoveryland and fantasyland. Of course my favourite would be the fantasyland with it’s magical kingdom, castle and knight in shining armour. Thou I have found mine still I could imagine myself dancing around in my glass slipper twirling to the sounds of fairies singing me a lullaby..ohhh back to life and reality, the day itself was sunny and full of sunshine. It was a fun and happy day.

I wish not to elaborate further on this trip cos I believe the picture speaks a thousand words. Have fun browsing!!

Day 4 London to Paris

The day started as early as 7 am. I had to get the kids up and ready for our pickup at 9 am. Next destination Paris..the city of Fashion!!! We arrived St Pancras at 10 am for our train to Paris. Euro train travels at a speed of 320km/h, I have to admit it was one of the most comfortable ride I’ve experience. Allysha slept through out the journey, somehow I’ve got the feeling that my baby is not feeling quite well probably due to the weather change and too much activity.Alif on the other hand is excited and happy as he can be!!!

There is a service for refreshment and snacks onboard and the price is quite reasonable I must say. I had a lot of thinking done on board while having coffee and sandwich. What is it that bother me so much??? I’m torn between speedy, ellipse or alma. Hahaha I’m talking LV dear!!! Anyway by the end of d journey I’m still undecided.

We arrived Gare Du Nord station roughly around 12.30 pm. Took a mini van that cost us 80 euro one trip to Elysees Ceramic Hotel . Yeahhh..taxi fare is quite expensive in Europe and the distance is only 15 min away!!!!!

We dumped our luggage in d hotel before heading out n ready to explore Paris.
Our hotel is just on the corner of Champ Elysees. It was strategically located in one of the famous shopping district in Paris. After walking for few hundred metres there it was..the building that caught my eye!! Omg..it was so HUGE!! The biggest Louis Vuitton Store I’ve step into!!! And..the rest is history….

Happy with my loot (hubby is a happy man too!!) the scouting for food begins and we settle for a Lebanese AGAIN..hahaha. Pls dont ask me why??? After dinner we took more photos before calling it a day.

Day 4 ended with a bliss…

I guard these with my life!! hahaha

Day 3 London

Today is shopping day!!! Yeeaaaayyyy..i'm so looking forward to spend the whole day at Bicester Village which is almost 40 mins drive from london city. Yes i did my researched and found this amazing Factory Outlet online. When it comes to shop u can count on me finding even the tiniest store on earth...hahaha..that's how bad and extreme i can be!!!

Bicester is huge and they have brands like Polo Ralph Lauren, Anya Hindmarch, CD, Timberland, Thomas Pink, Clarks, Ferragamo, Bally and many more. The prices here is at least 30%-70% marked down from the normal retail price plus further reduction on discontinued items and stock clearance.

Both of us have only one store in mind..POLO!!! Hahaha. We managed to grab like 8 tees, few jeans and few casual shirts. A clark shoes for the kids and more jeans from Timberland. If only i have more baggage allowance i wish to shop till i drop. I had to restrain myself not to be an impulsive buyer and regret i have thinking bout it now!! hah!! i should just bought that RALPH LAUREN TOTE!!!

My kids didnt have much fun, they gave me a confused look wondering why mummy went berserk like that girl in d shopaholic movie...ok i might exaggerate a bit but hey..alif did complained okay. We had sandwiches for lunch at Pret a Manger, there is limited choice for restaurants and cafes but it's okay..i'll eat sandwiches the whole week if i had too!!!

At 6 pm they close stores and we went hunting for food at East Acton and found a Lahore restaurant that served delicious beriani. That night i went to sleep smiling....

Day 2 London

Second day in London and I’m already missing Malaysian food!!! What is it about us ‘melayu’ and our food??? hahaha. We started the day by having nasi goreng Malaysian style and after filling our empty stomach everyone rushed to get ready for the day ahead.

We took the bus from East Acton to Baker Street where our destination Madame Tussauds lay. It is a Wax Museum created over 200 yrs ago. I’ve been here a couple of times and the figures and attraction keep changing. Little Allysha is too small to appreciate what’s on display but Alif on the other hand was excited to have meet spidey, Shrek, superman, Indiana jones and many2 more.

The only set back was the place is cramped with tourist and no baby strollers are allowed inside so u can imagine me carrying my 10kg baby throughout the tour that last us roughly 2 ½ hrs or more!!! It was mentally and physically challenging but I managed to survived the ordeal..hahaha.

After we left the Museum it was a hunt for a late lunch. We walk to Oxford Street which is about 15 mins walking distance and settled for a Lebanese food again. Reason being?? That’s the only available ‘halal’ restaurant within the vicinity, we’re too tired and hungry to look further.

Last activity of the day was strolling through Oxford Street and into Selfridges to get the prices of Gucci, CD and LV. Of course it wasn’t my intention to purchase anything that early besides I have like 12 more days to go. We took our bus back to the house at 9.00 pm.

Departure and Day 1 London

We departed from KLIA with Emirates Airline, first transit was Dubai for 4 hrs. Through out the flight my son was having a very bad ear blocked it was so uncomfortable that he cries in pain. He had to bear the pain for 6 hrs!! poor boy upon landed at Dubai airport we seek for medical assistance and ‘Syukur’ after the check up and medication he was able to continue the journey to Heathrow Airport which took another 7 hrs.

We arrived Heathrow roughly at 0700. A friend pick us up to a free accommodation courtesy or Mr Wahab from Pakistan. Hhmmm talk about sponsored house, it was located at East Acton probably 15 mins by bus to Oxford Street. The house itself is a medium size villa with huge backyard and 3 bedroom 3 bath, Kitchen, Lounge and dining area. It was comfortable for us even though it was vacant for more than a year cos the owner is living in Pakistan.

We didn’t do much on the first day except lounging around the house and catch up on much needed sleep. Only at night we managed to go for a decent dinner at a nearby Lebanese restaurant. And that ended our first day at LHR.
