Altered Art Journal

After a heavy dinner my stomach feels bloated now. Lol. Should have restrain myself but it's cold n raining and yes my hunger pangs is like working 24/7! Now i wish i could do something to burn off the calories!

Anyway here's sharing my project for Papier. An altered Art Journal. It was actually a hand bound book made by Yuzz Yusoff. It's been around for quite sometimes and only recently i get to altered the cover. It was a simple one using Bo bunny pattern papers as based and mixed media on top, a bit of texture paste, masking, mistings and washi tape.

Family and friends tq for all the support and well wishes. I am feeling much much better and i started to create! I think that is the most wonderful feelings to be back at my table. I thank god for the things in life. The past and present. More positive days ahead. :)

Finally..I'm exhausted!!!

Oohhhh yeah, this one drained me of my mojo n energy!!! I'm glad it's done and now i no longer feel like scrapping for a few days!! Seriously i'm gonna abandon that table for a while.

Recovering time for me till i can clear my head again! I wish i cud share the pages with u but it's too personal for the journal owner.

I'm missing few of the sketch blogs n playing along with TCR. Maybe next week is better for me. Till then i'm gonna post few things that i did last week.

The Art Of War

Got my head burn in the chaos n madness of trying to complete 100 page journal in a day!!! Only half way through. I got distracted with the kids. Sunday is not helping..they (the kids) bark me most of the time!!! Hahaha..

Still i have faith in ME!!! n i will get it done in time for delivery. Oohhh i wish little ally wud go to sleep early. It's 11pm n there's no sign of her sleepy..another battle to go..no worries i'm still smiling. Isnt life beautiful??? I enjoyed my journey so far, there's no regret.

Will get back to my piece soon. Nite2 to u guys..:))

Altered Projects

Hey all, sharing with u few projects. The first n second photos is an altered journal n door hanger that i did for a friend. The rest of the photos is what i did in class at SnC today. It was a good class with lots of alcohol inks n blending tools! Hahaha. Thanks penelope for a great class! I learn something everyday!! Got my hands dirty in the process n i'm loving it. I hope to join more classes if time permits.

If u ask wud i conduct something like that at Papier? The answer wud be no! Lol..not that i'm not into it. I love to do it on my own time n for my personal satisfaction but i'm not sure i'd want to get down that road with teaching.

U see..i'm a girly girl, a shabby chic one n i love my scissors too much that i'll stick to cut n paste for the time being! Lol. I like to keep it that way. Hhmmm so if ur looking for those technique n artsy type of thingy..look somewhere else!!! Lol. Better still get a great teacher who loves to play with medium. I know one who is so good at it! Teacher rosa, pls bring us more classes for altered media at Papier!!! I'd love to be in one!

Bits & Pieces of An Altered Journal

I had another basic scrapbook class at papier today and later meeting my swap buddies. Hahaha..see i've got a new name for u ladies who rock my day today. Thank you so much for the lovely and beautiful mini album swap and a lot more. I'm gonna snap the photos tomorrow when the lighting is good and so it will do justice to all the beautiful creations from the rockin ladies!

We're planning for another swap and still have not decide on what to do next. Hehehe. Ooohhh after all that ooohhh's n aaahhhh's i think i cant really think straight now. I've got a few more comission job to complete and this journal is a request from a sweet girl in sabah, the same one who requested a mini before. I'm glad she love em.

It's been days since i did a layout and i hope i can get one done soon. I do have few more albums to complete and then...back to layout peeps. Signing off for now. Need to update few more blogs! oohhh wow..so busy! as if!!!! lol...:)
