RIP little 'monkey'.

Emotional n shocking is how i describe my afternoon. I was driving from home to a friends place and out of nowhere a baby monkey ran across the middle of the road. It just stood there for a few second before deciding for a mad dash into my lane. I had a trailer on my left and a concrete divider on my right..what's a driver to do?? In that split second i had no choice but to hit the monkey in front of me.

I was really sad..in my life time of driving i have been lucky so far, i've never hit an animal and when it happen today i was sad more than shock. I'm glad too that i did not panic behind the wheels. Alif was seated at the back seat and he could hear the bone crushing under my tire!!! He scream and ask me 'mom why did u do that?'. I had to explain that i had no choice..it's either the monkey or us!!! Aaarrgghhh.

I'm still sad though, i called mom n she repeatedly say 'poor monkey'..and the worst thing of all..the monkey was staring right at me before he got hit! Oh i pray god forgive my sin..it was an accident! One that is beyond my control..:Rest in peace little fella, pls forgive me...:((

Charity Dinner

Hi peeps. Ooohhh wow..i'm pretty tired due to lack of sleep yesterday. It's been hectic all day long with my son sports day and at night a Charity Dinner at Istana Hotel. I reached home at 1.30 am, sleep at 2, wakes up at 6am for Segi Bazaar!!! That's 4 hrs of total sleep !!! hahaha..lucky thing d bazaar is only from 8 to 2 so it's not bad at all.

So about yesterdays dinner..there were cheque presentation to various organisation namely cancer, pediatric units n to the homeless too. It was graced by DYMM Raja Permaisuri Agong whom by the way looks amazingly regal in her attire n presence.

Entertainment that night was mostly 'Bollywood'. As the theme of the evening was 'An Evening In India'. Miss Earth India was one of the featured models for the fashion show session and the sari's were amazingly beautiful. The evening ended perfectly with the departure of her majesty. Later we crash at autie Sharifah for an hour of coffee before heading home.

Finally everything is all set n done! I'm nervous n excited at d same time. Dont think i'm able to sleep tonite..hahaha. Oohhh i need to pack plenty of h2o..it's gonna be a longgggg day..:)

Ooohhh wow..i’ve never been so tired and busy since?? Since my working days!!! Hahaha but I love the fast pace once in a while if it happens too often I might grow grey hairs faster than I anticipated! Okay peeps if ur wondering what was it all about..read below.

It all happens so fast. My bff (mummycool) message me while I was on vacation last week and ask if I’m game to join her for d above event and since the rental is reasonable or may I say cheap considering we split the cost between us..i say why not!!. I got home on wed and in between so..many things happen!! Just when u have to rush for a lot of things. Hahaha..but it’s okay I will not stress myself into becoming a wonder woman, I’ll make do with what I’m able to produce for this next few days.

 

OOhhh I almost forgot to mention I’ll be selling gift n craft item, which is not that much yet! Lol while ana (mummycool) is concentrating on food items such as lasagna, crème caramal, fried beehoon n few others. So do drop by to lend ur support. Just a sneak peak of d items on display..cheers!:)
