Happy Birthday Son!

I'd like to wish my son alif a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! and many more great years to come!!! actually we had a great dinner earlier today. It was funny too..

We went to Chilis Empire with my parents. We brought our own cake for the occassion. Alif wanted a football theme cake and so i ordered it from a friend. Told the server at chilis to keep it for later where they'll have the cake ready by the end of the meal course and they're supposed to sing him a birthday song...so that moment came and they came out with a piece of inhouse sponsored cake and sing him his birthday song! Hahaha..imagine Alif's disbelief face and he look at me as if saying...'Ma! that's not my cake!!!!'. After the singing's done we ask the server for the actual cake and she said..oohhh yeah it's coming shortly! I mean..what the heck??? why would u wanna sing him a birthday song twice??? and to make matter worse..a plastic football pole on top of his cake caught fire!!! He was screaming..'Mom..fire!!!!'...omg..i could die laughing this instance!!!! To show what i mean..here's the photo!!! lol....see the pole on the right, that's the one..:)))

Anyway, he's a happy boy! A good cake and a pressie..he's content and now sleeping soundly! A few shots from the dinner. Okay gtg now. Be back soon..ciao..:)

Alif's 7th Birthday

This year, it's a family affair only occasion. Alif agreed to a small family gathering, nothing grand, no party no big bash. Just something small n simple. He's 7 today. It's time that he learn to be a responsible person. Time to teach him values and to be thankful with what he has. So that he knows the meaning of hardship and hardwork.

He started his day as usual, went to school but during his morning break i drop by at his school with a box of cuppies and goodie bags for his classmate. They were thrilled to see the colourful football jersey and flags of Brasil and Argentina! Yes alif requested to have a football theme cuppies n that's what he get. He was all excited and i'm glad this little gesture made his morning!

The day continued with dinner at Chili's Empire. We had grandpa, grandma and his 'paksu/maksu' joining in the small celebration. It was just perfect! The important thing is the birthday boy's sleeping with a big grin on his face, Yeahhhh he shud cos he did not get one, but 3 gifts from daddy n mommy. Also two more gifts from grandpa and paksu.

Mama always pray n 'doa' that you will be a good son, remember 'Allah' always and no matter what..have faith n believe in yourself! The sky's the limit. Happy Birthday Alif. We love you so much.

His Sports Day

It was a beautiful morning at Seri Cahaya as i watch him in his sports attire of blue t-shirt and track bottom. They march pass us at the basketball court and sing the national anthem followed by the school song. The event kick off with the kindy kids and then after for Junior 1, 2 and 3.

The overall leading team was blue, second red and finally yellow. It was well coordinated and by 11.30 am the whole thing ended. It was great seeing him having so much fun and not caring if he wins or not!! hahaha. Every student went back with a medal, they smile and laugh despite receiving  gold, silver or bronze or plainly said..i dont think it matters much! :)

Hey peeps remember my previous entry here, about his graduation. Finally today i get to edit the photos and publish it for you guys. I'm not a trained photographer nor a professional photo editor, but just someone who loves to try out new things.
