Altered Candle For Papier

Hey peeps, this entry is autopost. I'm on my way to Gold coast. Hate to leave this blog empty even for 8 days! Hahaha. Okay on to this post.

An altered project using Papier May kit. I have bits n pieces left, too little for a layout but i still wanted something other than cards so finally while browsing at Ikea i got the idea to alter one of their candles. I think it's a great house warming gift, dont u? lol.

What i did is basically fussy cut those G45 papers and add embellishment. The blings is glued and then heated slightly with a heat gun to get it sticking to the candle. So any wrapping or packaging wont get the bling to fall off the candle. 

Hope u like this altered candle and it's easy and fast to assemble too! Till then..take care y'all!! :)))) 

Last piece before getaway

Finally school holiday is here!!!! Oohhh what a relief! Dont know abt u ladies but seriously i find doing house chores is dead tiring and it's a never ending business. Everyday same ol same ol, laundry, cleaning, ironing and caring for kids is taking a toll on me. Perhaps because my kids still depend on me. Basically i had to do everything from bathing to feeding, homework, school bags, uniforms, pee n poo too!!! Omg seriously i hardly have time for myself even showering is never a piece of mind when they constantly fight!!!

Aarrgghhh lucky thing my maid is coming back soon! I am waiting for her arrival before i could take a breather. I am about to lose my mind and temper too!

So i hope things would be better once we're back from holidays. I need a big break!!! Lol. Anyway, here's 3 lo that i did with a limited time on hand and amidst the children tantrum!!! Gotta say it lacks serious mojo!!! I just need to de stress myself and basically just scrap nonsense. All layout is using my May calico kit.

I wonder how other mommies without helper cope? Perhaps not having to clean a 3000sq ft hse helps too!!

Yup all on my own with 4 bedroom n 4 bath, courtyard, backyard and porch included! Hhhmmm i should reward myself with a supermom@woman crown!

Oohhh sorry for the long ramble too..i'm just...tired.

Love Mini Album For Scrappin Studio

Hi all. It's friday and i'm still not done packing!!! Heh..too many things to do. Hope i wont leave anything behind! Anyway here's another entry for Scrappin Studio.

Using May kit 'Lawn Party' i created this mini album. It's a combination of main kit and 3 add on's. I get the habit of dumping everything together and then i scrapped so basically it's a good mixed up of the kits. lol..

Anyway this album is constructed using envelopes and thin cardboard for the front and back page. It has pockets in every page to store the extra photos, tags or journalling pieces. Every calico kit comes with plenty of embellishment and i still have plenty more in my stash even after all those layouts and albums!

More mini's!

Hi all, i'm counting days for a short vacay to gold coast. 4 more days n we're on our way!!! Yyeeaayyy. Oh i know i'm gonna miss u guys for 8 days. I'm planning to resched all my posts tonite. All 3 blogs in total! Lol and at least 10 entry!!! Ok i'm breaking a sweat now!

Anyway just wanted to share more mini albums that was done about a month ago? Or maybe two? Oohhh i always lost count! The first is a mini butterfly album fm MR and the second is a mix of acrylic block, chipboard, frame, transparency, envelope, pattern papers and paper bags! A mixed of medium n technique too. A couple of die cut grunge board and embossing.

Like always limited photos of d album due to blogging fm iphone. If there's request to see d remaining pages i might do another entry for the second album, otherwise..no. Hehehe.

My Forever Family For Papier

Happy monday! Oh my, how time flies. I though a month would feel like forever but what do u know?? It's not long before our family vacation and after that..yessss the much awaited arrival of my maid!!!! Hahaha. Actually i think i'm doing quite well without one but i do miss the girls day out and spending time blog walking. So i decided i definitely need help!!! living without maid is a no go for me! lol.

Anyway here's a layout i did for my weekly posting at Papier. I combined MME pp n G45. A lot of fussycut and layering. Those prima flowers hiding in between the blooms and leaves is actually cut in half! I see no point of wasting the whole blooms when u cant see half of it! lol

Happy sunday all!!! Oowwhh well it doesnt really make a difference to me! Lol, infact i was still busy with hse chores since morning but managed to settled pretty much everything by afternoon.

A month ago i was on mini album marathon for a swap and guess what the same person again took 4 of my album! Hehehe. After that i stop creating mini for a while cos i'm so exhausted or more like drain out of ideas

.but i realised i did not share those album with u peeps here, so for d next few days it's gonna be all abt mini albums!!! I've got...hhmmm lets see..maybe 3 more to publish? Lol..

So okay here's album1, i created this based on ideas from Rosa, she did a tag album for her dt project with papier n i'm blown away with her awesome work! Thanks for d inspiration beb, of course mine is nothing like hers, she's a grunge queen n i'm a shabby gurl!! Lol.
