After receiving a RAK from winning the February Banner Challenge over at Create i get myself busy fumbling over the winning goodies. Aaaahhhh such a yummy RAK..thanks Jessy! and after much thought i decided to do these..

I decorate it with a perfume flower that i bought at Daiso and so it gives out a sweet smell of pot pouri in my room, perhaps when the perfume's gone i can used it as a frame for my photos too! yeah that wud be a fab idea..or  why not do both tomorrow?? hahaha..*wink*..

p/s: Need to drag Mr Hubby for more photo shoot soon..my photos r getting monotonous..same old..same old!! hahaha...

Twisted Cards #001

This entry is for the card challenge over at twisted sketch. Personally i think my friend 'Acik Nah' is more talented in d cards department!! hahaha. Ever since i started doing layout i've totally leave the card making part to her. I wish she cud join in the challenge but as of now she's leaving without internet connection at home!!! arrrgghhh how frustating can that be? Anyway here's my take...

I am watching ‘Anugerah Berita Harian’ while typing this entry. Can’t comment much about the winners, it is based solely on votes by the readers. Anyway not bad for performance wise esp from alya, dayang nurfaizah and dato’ khatijah ibrahim. Great vocal from all three!!!

 

Earlier today I meet naddy at OU to get my stuff that I purchase from scrappingchix. Thanks beb for spending the afternoon with me!! Manage to grab few items from zara. I ‘heart’ my new bootleg jeans with a bling2 on the back pocket. The reason why?? For the first time in my life..i’m a US size 6!!!! OMG!!! Seriously..even though I was a skinny girl before I have always had that ‘generous butt’ it runs in d family!! Hahaha..but thanks to Jazzercise n my fab instructor..i am now a proud woman with a size 6!!! This is indeed a record. Okay enough about that!

For the past few days apart from making lo, I was busy with these too..it’s a mini album/journal/guess book or anything u want it to be! It comes in 6x6. I’m planning to make more but in different sizes. It’s gonna be a busy week for me, certain things r not looking good and major changes is expected in a few months time. I ‘pray’ everything will be okay soon..insyAllah.

Life Story Workshop by Wati Basri

I know this is like ‘yesterday news’ hahaha. Everyone who attended the workshop has been blogging about it. So okay, here’s my version which is actually gonna be quite short! Hahaha. First and foremost I think Wati Basri is one talented gal!! and her technique is jusr plain marvelous and because of that I’m gonna get myself a heat gun!!!

It’s a life story workshop of a mini album. The idea is not to use any pattern paper but only cardstock and corrugated box as the album cover. She did a great job with hers but cant say the same bout mine. So u see..we can have the same paper, the same technique but different outcome!! just like cooking..same recipe, same amount and yet the dish will never taste quite the same!! Hahaha.

I promise it’s going to be short…so finally after ms wati parted her valuable knowledge to us this is what mine looks like. Eerrrrr..i guess it turns out okay but not great like hers!..lol
