A Letter For Fellow Scrapper

Dear Scrapper Friends,

Fret not, i'm not about to give up on scrapping...hehehe but due to my current situation of getting things done for the coming birthday i decided to take a really short break till next week. I'll be back with more n more layouts soon! I have plenty...to share! Currently my creative juice is over flowing and i'm excited about something too! U'll read about it real soon!..hehehe.

I know u probably was asking urself what kind of birthday party takes so much planning??. Hhhhmmmm well..i have like 160 guests, kids included to cater n entertained! lol...yeah it's gonna be BIG! I wish i cud invite everyone here but as it is i am extremely sorry for not being able to do so. The reason is because it's a birthday celebration for dad too and we've invited most of his friends. Please accept my apology.

So now u know n understand what type of madness i'm going through to get the party favours done in time! Still gasping for air, i managed to get one or two projects for Papier done. That'll be the next week posting for the blog. Wish me luck. As a parting goodbye's till i'm able to scrap again, i'll leave u with 3 layout n tags that i did during my class at 'Madewithlove' in singapore (remember my short hols) yeah that's the one!.

Work in progress

There's still plenty to do for allysha's birthday. So much of ideas for decoration n yeah pressie to buy for her n dad, btw dad will be celebrating his bday together with my daughter n i'll be inviting some of his friends too.

Only 4 days left n yet i've got cookies to wrap, dress to change, groceries shopping, party plates, balloons, pressie to buy n in between plenty of layouts to complete! Hahaha. Talking bout multi tasking!

City Crafter Challenge- Week 37

I had a longgggg day n night!!! I am so sleepy but decided to post this before it ends. This is my first entry for the above blog n hope will get to play more in the future. The challenge is to use your stamp n i went on a stamping spree!! lol.

I first stamped the background pp with prima clear stamp n heat embossed with clear embossing powder, next is the butterfly from studio calico n finally the sentiment from 7G. Pattern Paper from Webster Pages, TH Die Cut n Prima Flowers.

Oowwwhhh btw i'd like to share a good news. Remember the Dt Challenge over at Papier...eehhheemmm the Yummylicious RAK is MINE!!!! Hehehe...:) U can read more about it here. Thank you guys for a wonderful support and to my silent voters, thank you so much from the bottom of my heart!!! Big hugs!!!!...:))

Creative Scrapper Sketch #136

I was contemplating on posting this lo. Well i was not happy with the way it turns out but was too lazy to redo the whole thing. Firstly i was trying to clear my stash and was basically using everything that was given in a winning RAK and also a die cut from a swap. The tough part is combining all those stash in one lo.

Well lesson learned, next time round i wud just used it for a smaller projects, perhaps just die cut the pp instead of using it on a layout. Too much headache for me..lol. So here's to everything gone wrong! lol.

U must be wondering what that is. It's snowing tissue flowers on my scrapping table. Still so much things to complete!!! Aarrrgghhh..help!!

SIL Jan Hobby Challenge 2011

Hey peeps, still on holiday mood? I am!! hehehe. On the first day of 2011 we went out to shop for school material. I know it was so last minute but it's just a couple of stuff to get. Shoes, bag n water bottles to be exact. I was so occupied with few stuff lately that i almost forgot about SIL posting today! lol.

Anyway we had another interesting challenge for Jan. Do check em out here. Other than scrapping my other hobby is Jazzercise. I include the pink shoe lace as the element required in the lo. I stamped the background using bubble wrap and add tisu tape all over the page. All pattern paper used is from the Cosmo Cricket range. I believe u've heard me saying like a broken record of my love for Cosmo Cricket pp!! lol.

Welcome 2011

Happy New Year everyone. I'm home watching tv and had a late take out Dominoes for dinner. This is basically routine every year. Somehow i dont find it enjoyable driving around town or hanging out watching the fireworks. I hate the traffic and i know we'll be stuck for hours on the road. So..yeah that's just 'us'..lol.

My sadness in 2010 is still very much inside me. I do welcome 2011 but still i have not recovered from lost after lost. My uncle passed away just 4 days ago. It reminds me that with every year approaching i'm closer to losing the elderly in the family. That saddens me..those people that used to rock & craddle me is saying goodbyes. I know..life goes on, sooner or later we too will be meeting out creator. I'm hoping that this year come what may, i'll be given the strength to stay positive, mentally n emotionally prepared.

To all friends, May you be blessed with good health and great things in life. Stay strong and take one step at a time. Life is beautiful, find a spot in your heart to embrace the simple and smaller things in life. I have taken too much for granted, i will not, not treasure every moment i had bathing my kids, eating together, messing up my bed laughing n poking at them, watching their favourite channel and many more. The small things in life that i failed to notice before.

Last but not least, thank you 'Allah swt' for giving me another year to look forward too! Welcome 2011...:)
