Papier Blog Contest

I wont miss participating in this contest. Papier is my fav scrapbook store and yes i spend heaps there too!! lol. I bought my slice machine from them and they certainly have the latest and yummies papers and embellish ever!! Not to mention the only store that carries Martha Steward Punchers!! seriously..i could not get it anywhere else. So if u have not been there, i suggest u pay them a visit soon!!! I mean seriously SOON as they tend to run out of item FAST. Take a sneak peak at their blog here for this contest and their latest arrival.

The challenge is to create a layout and a matching card. Here's mine. I used Note{worthy} Pattern Paper in Addie Brocade and Flower Patch, Prima Bling, Prima Flowers, Kaisercraft Le Chateau Clear Stamps, Buttons, MS Puncher, Glitz Stickles, Glossy Accents and MR Mists.

I'm feeling much better now n i'm my usual self again!!! Yippeee...what does that means?? It means scrapping 3 layouts per day!!! Hahaha. Yeah i can be pretty nuts most of the time. So here's presenting my first lo of the day after those long unwell phase!!

Alif's 7th Birthday

:

This year, it's a family affair only occasion. Alif agreed to a small family gathering, nothing grand, no party no big bash. Just something small n simple. He's 7 today. It's time that he learn to be a responsible person. Time to teach him values and to be thankful with what he has. So that he knows the meaning of hardship and hardwork.

He started his day as usual, went to school but during his morning break i drop by at his school with a box of cuppies and goodie bags for his classmate. They were thrilled to see the colourful football jersey and flags of Brasil and Argentina! Yes alif requested to have a football theme cuppies n that's what he get. He was all excited and i'm glad this little gesture made his morning!

The day continued with dinner at Chili's Empire. We had grandpa, grandma and his 'paksu/maksu' joining in the small celebration. It was just perfect! The important thing is the birthday boy's sleeping with a big grin on his face, Yeahhhh he shud cos he did not get one, but 3 gifts from daddy n mommy. Also two more gifts from grandpa and paksu.

Mama always pray n 'doa' that you will be a good son, remember 'Allah' always and no matter what..have faith n believe in yourself! The sky's the limit. Happy Birthday Alif. We love you so much.

Scrapfit Workout #23

It's all about 'handmade goodies' at Scrap Fit. So i decided to do this simple card with felt flowers on it. I used Felt fabric from a local textile store, cut it according to the flower template and then add stitching on it. Since i'm still running low on mojo i decided to do a card instead of a layout. I think it's just okay..not great! Hahaha.

I am still recovering. The virus is quite nasty this time around. Still coughing badly despite 2 bottles of cough syrups! My 'maid' is down with fever too! I pray this episodes will end soon..:( Still no mojo, so my layout is quite awkward at this time.

I did this for Sketch #56, the twist is 'red'. I used Pattern Paper from Dove Of The East, Paris Vintage, Bella blvd Man Of The House, MM Varnish Lg Dot Flower Patch, Frill Lace Border, Bazill Chipboard, AC Thickers Vinyl Stickers, Dear Lizzy Rub Ons, Bo Bunny Rub Ons, Scenic Route Chipboard, K&Co Alpha Chipboard and Hero Art Stamp.

Sketchabilities Sketch #19

A colourful layout for Sketch#19. I'm destashing my craft box. It's full of...things that's odd!! hahaha. Lol. I think i'm gonna have a hard time trying to put them together hoping that they will match! How did my stash get to become so..uncoordinated?

At first i was this ambitious, colour crazy chic!! I wanted to try EVERYTHING!! and i'll buy ANYTHING!! without thinking twice. Whatever my heart fancies at that moment and being new to scrapping..i thought i needed to pack on the embellishment. So that's what i did exactly! Some of the other stuff are RAK's from my winning layouts and gifts from scrapper friends. So my mission is to get rid of it all fast!!

Here's a layout done with all those above in mind!!! Hahaha. A little crowded n except for the Pattern Paper the rest are just somethings from this n that. The packaging is missing so i'm not sure what is what..lol.

A Wedding Gift Canvas

Day 5 of sickness, but things are looking much better for me not for the kids! It's terrible how the virus hit us this time, first it was me then alif, mr hubby and now..my princess ally!! Aaarrgghhh not only it's tiring to be sick, now i had to look after 2 more sick kids! Ooohhh i pray this period wud end soon. So cheers to sleepless nite!!!

Anyway, i refused to let my health issues effect me. I keep telling myself it's mind over matter. If i keep complaining of being tired, nothing will get done so i force myself to scrap. Infact i did this canvas yesterday for a friend. She wanted a wedding present for her niece and i suggested this canvas instead of a 12x12 layout.

Day 4 of being sick..i dragged my a** to d Curve!! I just had to make a stop at papier before i go bonkers! and while i was there i bump into Jessie n Watie. U guys shud check out all the yummy stuff they have just brought in!! I want it all!! If only my bank balance permits!! Hahaha..
