The 'Day' itself...

Yes it’s our Anniversary day peeps..wwoohhoooo…hehehe. Well I’ll make it as short, sweet n simple for u guys. After all not sure if it’s worth rambling about the entire day. Let’s just say somethings are best left unspoken!! Hahaha. But it was a meaningful one. Mr Hubby decided to get us (me n d kids) a little pressie. I went out to get him something too..though it’s nothing great, I know he loves to wear British India and so that’s what I got him..a shirt!! Duhhhh…hahaha. Hey, pardon me my bank account certainly did not permit for something more lavish!..

Mr Hubby on d other hand..was sweet as ever..to get his kids toys and me..my ‘wish list’!! oowwwhhhh isn’t he a charmer? Ohh well it may not be that grand to some..but it certainly is to me!! I heart my ‘elegie’!!! thank you sayang. As u can see from d photos how xcited this woman is!!! Hahaha…I’m always excited to get a pressie..dont u??

Anyway at night we had a small gathering, I ask my parents to come for a sleep over, mom even made a delicious apple n cheese pie!!! Oowwhhhh mom is always full of love n surprises!! Thank you ‘mak’. My kids were enthusiastic..first becos of the pressie, second becos of the candles n cake!! They thought it was mom n dads birthday. I tried explaining to alif it was the date mom n dad got married but he gave me the confused look..oohhh nevermind!! Hahaha..

My Love Story

Dear Sayang,

9 years has passed since the day we were ‘akad’. I woke up in the morning of 25th May 2001 with butterflies in my stomach and eagerly waiting for the ‘mak andam’. I glance for the hundredth time at my ‘nikah’ beige lace kebaya. I waited with anticipation for ur arrival. Everything seems to be fuzzy, friends n family walk in n out of my room to see how I was doing. Little did they know how nervous and excited were this bride to be. I heard the commotion outside and announcement of ur arrival,..i can feel my heart beating fast and I pray I have the strength to walk downstairs for the ceremony. I saw how good looking u were in that beige ‘baju melayu’ and I cant help but to smile sheepishly to myself. From then on our journey begins…

Dear Sayang,

I know life is no bed of roses, yes we went through hardship, we fight, we argue and we make up. But that is the colours of our lives. Who am I to deny and pretend that I have a fairytale n magical love life. We went through it all and what matter most is how we pick up the bits n pieces and grew stronger together. There are times when I feel rejected and frustrated but the one thing that bond us is u never give up! U’ll never leave things unspoken and for that I’m thankful.

Thank you for a beautiful, adventurous and magical 9 years. Thank you for not forgetting to pamper me as u did 9 years ago. For all the love, for our dates without the kids, movies for two, lunch for two, few bouquets of flowers, birthday cards and the many fabulous gifts along the way I thank you. Though with two kids along the way I wud still prefer to be ur ‘baby’ for life! And finally..thank you for accepting me the way I am, with flaws and far from perfect.

Anniversary Cupcakes

Ohhh i almost forgot..hubby went back to Kuching yesterday for a meeting and he managed to ordered this amazing cupcakes from his cousin. Thank you Siti Wan Yusof for the delicious and yummy looking cuppies. I like!!!!
